What a great evening’s entertainment was provided for the club on Wednesday 6th December. This was our Christmas event and the theme was Edwardian. Members were encouraged to dress in traditional Edwardian style, and many did, with prizes for the winning gentleman and lady. The Edwardian Magic Lantern Show, put on by ‘Pepper’s Ghost, was very interesting and entertaining, and 27 members and guests enjoyed some delicious mulled wine, mince pies and nibbles during the show. Many thanks go to Alan Eyles and Jane Bristow for organising the event, and also to Bob and Roy for assisting with the setup beforehand.
