We began in the early sixties - using 8mm for the most part. As technology
changed more and more of us adopted video and progressed from the snowy
days of VHS to S-VHS and now to digital video.
The SouthDowns Film Makers is a non profit making organization.
The Objectives of the club are:-
To encourage the production of video films as a hobby.
To encourage interest in film and video as an art and as a medium
of information, education and entertainment.
To increase the knowledge and technical ability of members in the
use of photographic and video equipment by lectures, demonstrations and
instructional films and by mutual help, practice and discussion.
