October’s meeting was devoted to scripts, with one reading of a new script by Alan Cross and 2 from Alan Eyles, together with a couple of other readings submitted by non-members. All members were given the opportunity to read parts. Further discussions will take place to see if any can move forward into film production.
On the same evening we paid tribute to Ian Wingate, one of the founder members of the club when it was the Shoreham Cine Club, by watching 2 of the films he appeared in, which went down very well with the audience. Brian Meetens provided the introductions.
