The South Eastern Region’s Annual Film Festival held at the Oast Theatre, Tonbridge, where this year SDFM have a bumper crop of entries!
The annual inter-club challenge pits us and our neighbouring club at Chichester in a friendly but rivalry competition to win this coveted trophy.
This evening will be hosted by Chichester, as winners last year. Always a very close run event as to who can provide the best programme of films. A buffet will be included in the evening’s entertainment.
Each club’s show reel is to comprise a cross-range of members films of no longer than 30 minutes, plus 2 Hot Shorts thrown in for good measure.
A social get-together with like-minded people but with enemy tendencies!
We have engaged the services of Nick Driftwood, whom we met at this year’s Photography/Video Show at the NEC in Birmingham. He gave us a very interesting talk/presentation on the Sennheiser stand all about his film making, and he has agreed to come and talk/present a similar show at our next meeting on 5th June.
The planned re-visit by JUMPSTART has had to be postponed to a later date, so this evening is now for member’s films.

Howard may also bring along some ‘shorts’ to be screened in between.
