Although the film festival takes place over the weekend of 14th and 15th April in Harrogate, all the entries have already been judged and South Downs have won some impressive awards. How about 5 stars! yes 5 stars for our ‘Travel Companion’, and 4 stars for Alan Cross’s ‘Ralph Waters Organist’. And it doesn’t finish there – how about 2 stars for ‘Seven Sisters at Sunset’, ‘The Picture’, ‘Cold Calling’ and ‘Turn it Up’.
‘Ralph Waters Organist’ and ‘Travel Companion’ will be screened on the Saturday and Sunday respectively in Harrogate, whilst there is not enough time to screen the 2 star award winners.
